Sitting just 2 miles away is the fabulous Idle Valley Nature Reserve, one of the richest birding sites, with a great shop and café on site. It is one of the largest reserves in the East Midlands, and has wheelchair and pushchair accessible routes. Doncaster Racecourse, just 13 miles away, has one of the finest courses in Europe and has the best horse racing Yorkshire has to offer. Or why not venture to Bawtry Golf Course (8 miles), with a great all season offering.
