This property is less than a mile from the centre of Cockermouth you can walk cycle or drive and explore the shops, restaurants and pubs. Less than a 10 minute drive away you reach the beautiful harbour town of Maryport where you can look over to the Scottish mountain ranges or visit the award winning Lake District Coast Aquarium. Within a 20 minute drive you will find yourself in the picturesque market town of Keswick where you can explore the Cumberland Pencil Museum or why not take in a show at the Theatre by the Lake. You can fish for salmon and trout from the riverbank directly in front of the cottage with a permit, or watch the sheep as they graze in the adjoining field. The cottage is perfectly positioned to be able to explore the north and central Lake District. Entering the property you will see to your left a twin room with en suite bathroom with bath, shower and WC. From the hallway, you will enter the lounge and kitchen which is bright and airy with views across the river, the kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with freezer box. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable with a sofa and two chairs, TV and CD/DVD. Leading from the lounge you can access the conservatory , you will also find a washing machine and tumble dryer, this is a wonderful area for you to enjoy the views on offer. The small double bedroom is accessed from the lounge with en suite wet room with shower and WC. Outside of the cottage you have a large decked area with table and chairs and a BBQ, here you can enjoy the unspoilt view directly over the river. Off road parking for two cars is available at the side of the cottage. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 small (3/4 size) double and 1 twin with electric bed. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room.
