This Cumbria house is the perfect setting for families and friends who want to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy quality time together in this Lakeland location.

Set close to the Cumbrian coast in the cute village of Gosforth with quaint shops and eateries. The western lakes offer something for everyone with the beaches to the west and the world famous Scafell Pike (14 miles) is only a short distance away as well as Wasdale Head (9 miles). Head inland and you ll be immersed in your choice of Lakes from Buttermere (20 miles), Loweswater (18 miles), and Wast Water (6 miles). For the adventurous types why not try your hand at some water sports on any of the Lakes or take a tour around a host Lake District hot spots. Your holiday at this property begins as soon as you walk into the hall where you can kick off your shoes and hang up your coats. The lounge area is the hub of the house and split into two lovely areas, the first part is a home away from home with a corner sofa with a Smart TV and then through the sliding doors into the snug with another sofa and armchair. The diner offers a great space for family meals around the oak table. Through the archway is the kitchen which caters for the inner chef inside all of us. There is a range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. Out the back is the lovely snug/conservatory with two armchairs and lovely views out over the garden. Up to the first floor is the master bedroom with a super king size bed (which can be made into a zip and link on request) and then two double bedrooms. Finally, the bathroom offers a roll top bath, perfect for a soak after a day out, then a separate shower and WC. There is a large garden area with decking to enjoy a glass of wine or a meal any time of day. There is a long drive with two parking spaces and unallocated on street parking. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles, 1 super king (can be made into a twin on request). 1 bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.
