Stay closer to home and make the 1 mile trip to the majestic Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, passing the quaint Bridge House in town which is owned by the National Trust and is renowned for being the most photographed building in the Lake District. Spend a family friendly day on the water and cruise between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside. After days exploring, treat yourselves to a meal out in Ambleside and a drink at the jazz bar.
