The double bedroom is light and airy, with plenty of storage space and overlooks the trees at front. Next, the single bedroom is perfect for those travelling with a child. Arrive to a small courtyard at the rear of the property, accessed via glass doors from the single room. This soothing spot allows you to enjoy a drink outside, or the front patio is equally as inviting. Levens is ideally placed for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, and boasts excellent views of the southern fells across the Lyth Valley and the River Kent. Stroll to the local shop to pick up a loaf of bread, and stop off at the pub on the way back for a refreshing pint! Beautiful walks take you through glorious wildlife reserves. Kendal offers museums, shops and eateries, as well as Kendal Castle, a 12th century medieval fortress atop a glacial drumlin. Take a trip out to Lake Windermere for boat rides and further walking and cycling. This is an ideal getaway for a quality break in Cumbria.

Levens is set on a high promontory in beautiful countryside and ideally placed for exploring the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. There is a lovely old church, general store/newsagent and a pub. Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are nearby, as are limestone escarpments for easy walking, offering thrilling views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills and Morecambe Bay. Nearby Kendal is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. Other attractions such as Kendal Museum, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park within easy reach.
