The huge sandstone fireplace is a focal point for cool Cumbrian evenings and a generous supply of logs as well as underfloor heating ensures guest comfort and relaxation. Riverain's private garden and parking area is set on the South facing side of Blencow and has amazing views over the hills towards Mell Fell.
Rural Retreats offer two other properties within the grounds of Blencowe Hall, Cazenovia Hall and Wythburn Cottage.

HOT TUB information The owners would be happy for the guests to hire a tot tub at the property. This can be arranged with Cumbria Hot Tub Hire - 07703 046523 or info@cumbriahottubhire.co.uk. The owners will ask for a £30 surcharge to be added to the reservation to cover the cost of extra water and electricity used.
Five EV chargers on-site shared between the nine properties at Blencowe (including the five Blencowe Retreats Shepherd's huts). Payment made via QR code, full details will be provided prior to arrival.

Riverain offered us all that we required for a perfect holiday in a part of England that we love. We have had several holidays at Blencow and we are always impressed by the contents of the food hamper and the treats provided for our dog. Our family will certainly return and the younger ones hope to try out a Shepherds Hut next time.

We had a wonderful week, the garden was not secure and so we struggled when sitting out the back constantly making sure the dogs were safe. Couldn't fault the house and the provisions, very well equiped.
