A smart, comfortable, brand-new detached carrstone fronted bungalow tucked quietly away on the edge of the pretty Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. Just minutes away from the coast, Glimpse is a stylish retreat perfect for a small family or a couple seeking a romantic getaway.
Sitting on the perimeter of the town's Butterfield Meadows development, Glimpse is a delightful and contemporary addition to our Hunstanton portfolio of coastal cottages. Chic and petite, the bungalow is furnished in a contemporary style, with a soothing colour palette used throughout. Comfortable, and all on one level, this is a great base for exploring further afield or just staying local. Featuring a smart up-to-the-minute well-equipped kitchen and fully-tiled bathroom (with both bath and showering facilities), there's a relaxing sitting room with dining area and doors that open to the garden. The two bedrooms (king-size and full-size twin) both with quality beds and excellent storage space. Outside, at the rear of the property, is a south facing, fully enclosed private garden with a charcoal barbecue and a patio dining option for warmer days. On a clear day, its possible to catch a 'glimpse' of Heacham beach from both bedrooms and the front garden.
Atop the magnificent red and white striped cliffs rising from the historic Norfolk coast, the charming coastal town of Hunstanton evokes a feeling of an old-fashioned seaside holiday resort. A favourite destination for wealthy Victorians and Edwardians, the town enjoys endless stretches of beautiful beaches, easy access to some historic country houses as well as a bustling town centre with excellent local facilities - offering you the best of all worlds. Facing west, Hunstanton is renowned its stunning sunsets. Sitting above a vast sandy beach that stretches for miles, there are rock pools for young and old to explore, or build a sand castle or two, try flying a kite and, for the exercise conscious, you can step out for a bracing walk along the North Norfolk coastal path - for as far as you like. For the avid walker, and birdwatcher, walking in an easterly direction along the beach, you first pass Old Hunstanton, with its colourful beach huts hidden in the dunes. The next village you reach is Holme-next-the-Sea where Holme Dunes - an open wilderness of sand dunes, mud flats, salt marshes and a pine forest teeming with a vast array of resident and migrating birds around the year - is simply stunning.
