"We really enjoyed out stay in the cottage. We had everything we needed and more. All the food provided for the welcome was a real treat, especially the cake! There wasn’t a single thing that we wished was provided that wasn’t already here. The only disappointing thing was the weather. Despite this we still had a great time – exploring Sandringham, Mundesley, Overstrand, Cromer and Wells-next-the-sea, as well as others. Also visited Felbrigg and Blickling for National Trust. Both of which were lovely. The children particularly enjoyed the games you provided and had a lot of fun every evening with these. The memory jars were also a really lovely touch – thank you! Lovely park and village green – with much football played. Thank you for everything."

Try the Norfolk gin - we’ve taken a couple of bottles home!"

We struggled to find many cottages through NCC which had bike storage. The facility you have is really excellent and a real bonus. In spite of the weather - snow, arctic winds and bitterly cold temperatures - it’s been a lovely week."

"Beautiful house in a lovely location. The owner has clearly put a great deal of thought into making this a comfortable, contemporary retreat, but sympathetically maintaining many of the traditional features. Well equipped and clean, with everything a family would need for a week-long stay. Lots of lovely little touches, even down to the sumptuous towels! The house is set in a pretty village and nicely located for short drives to many of the local sights such as Cromer, Blakeney and the seals at Sea Palling. We enjoyed a wonderful stay over Christmas at No 2 The Green. A beautiful house sympathetically renovated to maintain many traditional features, the property is cosy and inviting; a real 'home away from home'. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped, we had everything we needed for a week long stay, down to the dishwasher tablets and laundry capsules! Our children, aged 11, 8 and 2, loved exploring the house. Our only regret was that winter weather meant we couldn't make more use of the garden! The provisions, including milk, eggs, bacon and a bottle of bubbly, were much appreciated, as was the delicious home-made chocolate cake! The house is situated in the lovely village of Aldborough, overlooking the green and village playground. Well located and within easy drives of many sights including Cromer, Blakeney and Sheringham, the highlight of our visit was an afternoon of seal watching at Sea Palling! A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay, we would highly recommend the house and are sure to return again. Beautiful property in a delightful setting. Perfect for families. Well equipped and homely. Can't think of a nice place to have stayed over Christmas. Will definitely return!"

"We all had such a wonderful time in your beautiful house. This was the children’s first Christmas spent away. The small personal touches really made it special and the children’s eyes lit up when they found their stocking complete with reindeer food! "What a lovely cottage. Very comfortable and love the décor. The welcome treats were a lovely extra. The village of Aldborough is really nice. Plenty of dog walks. People friendly. Had lovely days at Cromer, Overstrand beach, Wells-next-the-Sea and of course fish and chips. Jack (the dog) loved his doggy treats and the garden."

You clearly take pride in the place and that’s reflected in the way it is maintained. We particularly appreciated the little touches which made all the difference; plenty of bath towels, well-stocked in the cleaning/toilet department and milk, eggs, bread and bacon awaiting us. "Thank you so much for a lovely stay. House is perfect and very well equipped. A really lovely holiday in an area with plenty to do with the children (including the playground on the green). Sunny day in Cromer was great as beach is great combining sand and rock pools. West Runton beach also good but no fossils for us. Lunch and walk at Felbrigg a nice change from the beach. Strong recommendation to visit Priory Maze and Pensthorpe. The latter particularly great for under 10s who have energy to burn thanks to amazing indoor and outdoor activities."
