Located within walking distance of the pretty town centre of Holt and set in a quiet residential spot is Oaklands Cottage. Modern and spacious, the comfortable accommodation is well equipped, family friendly and makes for a comfortable base from which to explore this beautiful part of Norfolk. There are 2 double bedrooms plus a room set up for a toddler, so there is plenty of room for those wishing to holiday with the little one and you could bring the grandparents too! There is a play park moments from the front door and a small courtyard garden to the rear.
Holt is a popular Georgian town located just 4 miles from the stunning surroundings of the north Norfolk coast. It has an interesting range of galleries, gift shops and eateries. Nearby, board a steam or diesel train and take a ride along the 'Poppy Line' through the countryside, into neighbouring Weybourne and Sheringham. The diverse coast is adorned with small traditional villages and larger seaside towns , which offer good pubs or restaurants showcasing locally caught seafood and produce. For a day at the seaside head to Wells-next-the-Sea or Cromer. Both offer up good sandy beaches, watersports and nearby ice cream parlours for an afternoon treat. Norwich, rich in history and shopping opportunities and The Broads National Park are easily accessible for a day out. So make Oaklands Cottage your base for a great location from which to explore this exciting area.
