Decorated and furnished with love by the owner to reflect its seaside location you are sure to fall for this charming little getaway. Just footsteps from the wide sandy beach and the sough-after village centre which features lots of great places to eat and drink this really is the perfect location from which to explore the area.
As well as a coastline boasting sand and shingle beaches, rolling sand and grassy dunes, salt and clay marshes and picturesque quays you will also find yourself in easy reach of the Norfolk Broads. Here you can charter a day launch and be the captain of your own ship or join an organised tour to float along these famous waterways. You can reach the heart of the Broads from the mainline train station in nearby North Walsham, which will also take you to the Medieval city of Norwich, or you can drive to the market town of Aylsham and hop on the Bure Valley Railway and enjoy the trip across open countryside. Families will enjoy visits to Cromer with its traditional seaside amusements and famous pier along with Bewilderwood and Amazonia Zoo.

The accommodation is on a quiet chalet park and any neighbours around were friendly and very pleasant. All arrangements for arrival and access were well communicated and accurate. If anything the listing undersold the property which had all manner of extras that we were not expecting such as starter pack (quality products and much appreciated as we arrived late), games and cards, camping chairs, picnic basket, hairdryer, etc. I had asked if there was a BBQ at the property and there was a brand new one when we arrived (ooops! - felt a little bad about my request :) ) The Chalet Park literally has chalets and a site office but Tesco Express is a short walk of about 5 minutes and the village is about 10 minutes walk. Lovely host who did everything possible to ensure we had a comfortable relaxing stay.

Lovely stay at bluebirds chalet. We stopped over Easter and we’d love to come back. Chalet is clean and has everything you need. Perfect for children (8 and nearly 6) and dogs. Short walk to the beach and all dog friendly. Tesco not too far either for anything you need. Hostess is 5 star too, left some lovely little touches to our stay - really nice.
