Bamburgh House is situated at the entrance of Adderstone Hall Farm Steading and provides spacious holiday accommodation for larger groups. The Steading was the working heart of the large Adderstone Hall Estate and has recently been developed into a range of holiday cottages. The living space stretches across the ground floor and each of the six double bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the first floor. Many rooms afford fabulous long-distance vistas across farmland towards Bamburgh Castle, with the sea as a backdrop.
The nearby small and friendly village of Belford is only a couple of miles away, where there are many local facilities available. Guests of Bamburgh House can enjoy discounts in the restaurant of the popular Blue Bell Hotel in Belford. There is also free and unlimited use of Belford Golf Course available for visitors to Bamburgh House. The small town of Wooler is situated a short drive west and is a popular destination for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities. The challenging route of ‘St Cuthbert’s Way’ runs by.
The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic fortress is only a few miles inland, where there is a glorious expanse of golden sandy beach. The historic market town of Alnwick to the south and the Georgian town of Berwick-upon-Tweed to the north are equidistant at 15 miles away. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
