Close to a great road network it is easy to travel in all directions from here meaning you are never short of somewhere to go; in fact, you can go somewhere different every day if you wish. The ducal town of Alnwick is only a few miles with the fabulous Alnwick Castle featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey with cobbled streets and historic sites.

Amble Retreat is a great base with separate a dining room and a small enclosed rear yard, parking by the door, it’s an ideal location for exploring Amble and the delights all over this beautiful county.
