Enclosed gardens with patio, garden furniture an BBQ. Bike store. Garage parking for 1 car. Private parking for 3 cars; alternative on-road parking. No smoking. . The accommodation opens into a stylish living area, with tall windows and French doors leading onto the patio. Comfortable sofas and chairs nestle round a wood burner, perfect for cooler evenings. With a Smart TV for your entertainment, the children will enjoy their own snug room complete with bean bags, TV, DVD’s and games. The spacious kitchen is well equipped and a perfect social space with breakfast bar, with a separate dining room and large table for more formal dining.
Upstairs offers a good variety of sleeping arrangements, the double bed is built-in and accessed by two steps, two twin bedrooms and a beautiful en-suite master bedroom with super kingsize bed (can be twins on request) with large walk-in shower and a fabulous slipper bath. There is a separate family bathroom with shower.
Outside is a south facing patio area, the ideal sunny spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. To the side of the property a spacious patio area, the pergola sheltering a table and chairs to enjoy al fresco suppers from the BBQ and two loungers to relax in the sunshine. There is access to the garage for one car or motorbike and additional cycle storage.
Bardon Mill is a friendly village with a charming coffee shop/general store selling local produce, newspapers and crafts. Opposite is the village hotel, recently refurbished to a high standard and serving good, homely food and drinks. Walkers gather nearby in the lovely picnic area and a short walk down the road is a large playpark for the children. A small railway station is nearby and perfect to explore further afield- you can be in Newcastle or Carlisle in under 45 minutes.
