The property is set just north of Hadrian’s Wall and only 9 miles from the pretty historic village of Corbridge, with plenty of pubs and tea rooms.  It is less than 3 miles from the village of Matfen, a charming, picture postcard village with a pub, shop and tea room, and of course a nearby golf course at Matfen Hall, 2½ miles.  Lovely Bolam Lake is only 10 miles away, and there are lots of places of interest nearby.  Take a day tri. . .
