The well-equipped kitchen and dining area have all the essentials for serving up a great Northumberland meal and the door from the kitchen leads to a lovely patio area and lawned garden, a sunny spot to relax with friends and enjoy an alfresco meal. The French-style king-size bedroom is a peaceful haven to retire to at the end of the day and the bathroom provides a bath for those who like to soak tired limbs. Just a short drive will take you to The Northumberland Arms in Felton, a well-established local pub serving fine food and top-quality ales, or why not try afternoon tea at The Running Fox serving gorgeous cream teas and cakes? Kizzie's Cottage is within easy reach of the A1 which will take you to all the delights that Northumberland has to offer, including Alnwick with its renowned castle and gardens, Brinkburn Priory with its peaceful riverside setting and the National Trust's Cragside House. Warkworth, located on the Heritage Coast, is a lovely village highlighted by the stunning ruins of its 12th century castle. The Percy Family, who took over the castle in 1332, is entwined with the history of the community and the castle. The second house of the Percys is adjacent Alnwick Castle, which was lately connected with Harry Potter as the film site of Hogwarts School. Warkworth also boasts its own sandy beach as well as a 9-hole pay-and-play golf course.
