A Gorgeous Romantic Hideaway in Beautiful Warkworth Village
This beautifully renovated, luxurious cottage is snugly located on the outskirts of this pretty village, Wren Cottage in Warkworth is perfect for a couple, 2 couples or a small family, its location makes it ideal for exploring Northumberland whilst having all the amenities of the village and a huge sandy beach within easy walking distance.
There are lovely walks around the riverbank, which is teeming with local wildlife including herons, foxes, kingfishers, ducks and swans and even seals at high tide.
There are several good pubs serving food and some interesting little shops including the renowned Fenwick Art Gallery, a French patisserie and coffee shop, jewellery and gift shops and a well-stocked village store. Around 1 mile away in the friendly fishing port of Amble, there are several good restaurants including the very popular fish restaurants ‘The Old Boat House’ and ‘Sea and Soil’, and the deli-kitchen bistro ‘The Fat Mermaid’.
