Stroll along the riverbank, and explore Wooler Common for walks, picnics, mountain biking and horse riding. Walk to the top of Yeavering Bell (5 miles) near the Cheviot Hills for amazing views and the Iron-Age hill fort. Visit Bamburgh Castle and Beach (16.5 miles), take a boat trip from Seahouses (18.5 miles) to see the Farne Islands, cross the causeway to explore Holy Island (17 miles), and explore historic Berwick for the day (17.5 miles).

This open-plan, studio-style apartment is beautifully presented by the caring owners who have provided everything needed for a thoroughly relaxing stay. Follow the garden path and enter the apartment’s front door. The main living space is warm, bright and airy with a large window overlooking the garden and countryside beyond. There is a comfortable sofa where you can relax after exploring the area. This can be converted into a bed for an additional child guest on request. Enjoy an evening watching a movie on the Smart TV which can be angled for viewing from either the sofa or the bed. The compact kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances so you can cook a tasty meal if you prefer to eat in, sitting comfortably at the fold-down dining table. There is a double bed and plenty of storage space for your belongings, a shower room with a shower cubicle and heated towel rail, and a separate WC.

Outside, there is a charming patio area with garden furniture where you can sit with your morning coffee and listen to the visiting birds. This is an official Dark Skies area so you can stargaze in the evenings too. The large, enclosed lawned garden has its own private gate leading directly into town.
