This luxury property, set in an exclusive cul de sac located just above the town, offers gorgeous views of Cheviot Hills country and is within walking distance of Wooler, offering a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a wealth of regional history and culture such as Ad Gefrin, Anglo Saxon museum and whiskey distillery. Family explorers, walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the many local trails around the Cheviots, Glendale, St Cuthbert s Way, and the stunning Northumberland National Park. If river walks and golf are more your style, then there is plenty to keep you happy close by too and the beach at Bamburgh on the stunning Northumberland coastline is perfect for family fun. Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (17 miles) and Berwick upon Tweed for its history, culture, shopping, and restaurants. Head to the Ford (21 miles) and Etal estates (11 miles) for a full day out and to ride on the steam train. Access this wonderful property via a shallow ramp leading to the front door and walk into a smart boot room with coat hooks, bench seating, and plenty of storage boxes where you can leave your outdoor gear. This room leads into the hall with an easy chair and a bookcase full of books and novels to browse during your stay. Head into the spacious and sociable kitchen/diner that has everything you need to prepare and enjoy a family feast with a gas range style hob and electric oven, an American fridge/freezer, microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The large kitchen island comes with bar stools where you can eat breakfast or sit with a drink, and there is a Bluetooth speaker and a radio for your entertainment. The large dining table has seating for eight in front of bifold doors with views across the balcony to the beautiful open countryside beyond. A door from the dining area leads into the bright and airy lounge with windows on two sides and French doors leading to the balcony. There are three comfortable sofas to relax on while watching a movie on the Smart TV with Netflix in front of the warming wood burner and the coffee table houses some fun games for all the family to play. The ground floor bedroom has a super king size zip and link bed (which can be made up as twins on request). This bedroom also has a Smart TV and an easy chair where you can spend some quiet time with a book. The Jack and Jill style en suite shower room has an elegant, walk in shower and WC which can also be accessed via the hallway. Heading upstairs the main bedroom has a super king size bed with plenty of storage for your things, a desk/dressing table, an easy chair, and windows to two sides offering those fabulous views. The en suite bathroom has a double sink and a P shaped bath with a shower over the bath and WC. There is also a king size bedroom and a double bedroom, each with plenty of storage space and lovely views. There is also a shower room with two washbasins, a shower cubicle and a WC. Outside, to the rear, there is a large, enclosed, lawned garden with fruit trees, where children can run around safely. Spend your day sitting on the balcony, enjoying al fresco BBQ dining at the extendable table or unwind with a drink on the garden sofa and chairs to watch the sun setting. The hot tub is perfectly situated so you can relax while taking in the surrounding scenery all year round. There is a stairgate available to secure the stairs leading down from the balcony to the garden below. At the front of the house, there is another table and chairs where you can relax with your morning coffee. The table tennis table to be set up by guests if they wish to use which is under the spacious carport for sporting family fun and the carport has its own lighting so evening matches can continue after sundown.
