Slightly further afield at 17 miles, is ancient Chester with its zoo and historic attractions, or the National Trust properties of Dunham Massey Hall or Tatton Park. If you re feeling slightly more energetic you can visit the Royal Falconry Centre in Nearby Acton Bridge , less than 4 miles away, or hire a canal boat from the Quay Marina in Northwich and be a Captain for the day! Wildshore Watersports and Delamere Forest less than 5 miles away. Delamere Forest is less than 7 miles away and has great bike trails, a visitor's centre, café and Go Ape, for a real tree top adventure.
