Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle with its World Hawk and Owl Centre; the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, the famous Hardknot Pass with its Roman Fort, and the Georgian town of Whitehaven with its picturesque harbour.

Loved the quarkiness of upside down living and couldn't ask for better facilties and the hottub was just what was needed after a day's exploring. The host where simply amazing from the little welcome packs to the lovely homemade cakes and scones, and where most helpful providing lots of knowledge of places for us to visit. We will definitely visit Coney Garth again
