Discover the enchanting landmarks of Swinside Stone Circle and the ruins of Ravenglass Roman Bath House or use Lazey Cottage as a base for exploring the coastal or mountainous areas with its activities and views to suit all. Embark on challenging hikes up the peaks of Hater Fell, Scafell Pike and The Old Man of Coniston before descending to the traditional village of Coniston for a hearty meal at one of the many local cafes. Most of the Marina is now a RSPB bird reserve and Hodbarrow Nature reserve and makes a lovely walk.
