Midday is a stone’s throw from the seafront and 1. 5 miles long promenade with views across the Solway Firth to the coastline and hills of Dumfries and Galloway.  The area is well known for stunning sunsets and is an excellent base to explore the Lake District National Park and Hadrian’s Wall.  Nearby is the Solway rspb bird reserve at Campfield.
