The host greeted us and gave us a tour with some fresh farmhouse bread she had baked and a slab of freshly baked cake. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you would need. Cooker, Fridge, Washing Machine, Microwave oven and dishwasher. Green all around through every window. Telly and WIFI were great and I was able to get iPlayer, Netflix, Prime, ITVX etc.. to keep up with the football and Tennis whilst relaxing. We had booked to take family with us who couldn't come due to ill health and the downstairs was for them because of mobility issues. We did not realise that there were 2 steps from the lounge to the downstairs bedroom and toilet which may have been a bit of a problem for the family guests but, in their absence, we only used the downstairs area for our stay except for showering in the upstairs shower room. The bed was very comfortable and fresh, water was very hot and the shower was great. The bathroom downstairs had a toilet and bath with overhead shower. Being a chilly June, we lit the fire a few times which had plenty of wood for the wood burner. We wanted for nothing and had a very pleasant and relaxing break. Thank you for a wonderful break!!

The Owners showed us everything we needed to know and made us a wonderful welcome pack including homemade bread and a glorious lemon drizzle cake. We had a lovely time there, visited lots of places and our dog had a great time in the garden.
