Ulverston is a cobbled-street market town. It has independent shops, cafés, and pubs with open fires and real ales. Fine dining and tavern meals are both available. Ulverston is a festival town, with flags, walking, art, and music festivals in the summer and the Dickensian Christmas festival in late November. Stan Laurel was born there, and it holds the world record for the biggest foam pie battle, revealing a joyful, community-minded town. The town and surrounding area offer stunning views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Deepest, widest, and shortest canal makes for a great afternoon walk with a pub and bay views. All National Park attractions are accessible. Furness Coast has sandy beaches and birding. Even better than the photos. Loads of space and very clean. Only a few minutes walk to centre. Would definitely book again. Only feed back would be to have a full length mirror . Thanks for the lovely stay xx

  • Nicola

Amazing week in a very lovely property the only suggestion would be for extra egg cups so everyone can have a boiled egg and soldiers
