Ulverston is an old-fashioned market town with a cobblestone central street. It has several unique stores, cafes, and bars serving good ale and hearty food. From five-star restaurants to cosy neighbourhood pubs, there is truly something for every taste. During the summer, Ulverston hosts a variety of festivals, from a flag-raising and walking festival to an art and music festival, and in late November, the town hosts the world-famous Dickensian Christmas celebration. You can get a sense of the fun and community spirit of the place where Stan Laurel was born and where the largest foam pie battle in history was held. Stunning views of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District may be seen from the many walking trails that surround the city. The deepest, widest, and shortest canal in the world can be found here, and it provides for a great day stroll with a bar and bay views at its conclusion. The park's various points of interest are conveniently close. Aside from its sandy beaches, the Furness Coast is also a great place to go birdwatching. The South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston, and Birkrigg Common, famous for its breathtaking vistas of Morecambe Bay, are all within easy driving distance and are great for families.

Gorgeous surroundings, not far from the town or into lake windemere. Our little girl loved seeing the animals everyday. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. :)

We were 5 min away from grocery stores in case you need something in the night . Also restaurants , pubs and etc. Itâs a 20 min drive to Windmere Lake. The area is very beautiful, have breathtaking landscapes, quiet and peaceful for relaxing time. There are a lot of hiking trails around as well. Owners are super friendly and helpful. They guide us through the area and also let us come to the farm with my 4 years old daughter and watch farm animals life which was very cute and interesting. The lambs were so cute. Property is very new, neat and cosy. You can have breakfast there if you want and sit outside on the table as well. And yeah, hot tub was amazing, I loved sitting in the night under the stars in it, it was very relaxing. Highly recommend as very cool option for visiting the Lake District
