Wray is a small village in Lancashire, 10 miles from the city of Lancaster. The village has a general store with a post office. The village also has a pub; a tearoom, Bridge House Farm Tearooms; and a restaurant Bridge House Bistro. Wray is home to the "maggot races", an annual event which raises money for local charities. The Scarecrow Festival takes place every year during the week leading up to May Day when there is a fair. Lots of the villagers put up scarecrows outside their homes which are then photographed and added to the village website.
