The Old Vicarage is a truly breathtaking piece of architecture, offering luxury holiday accommodation like no other. Steeped in history, it was originally built as a 16th-century farmhouse, which was transformed in to a vicarage in 1846. Set in an elevated position adjacent to the owner’s home, it was perfect for overlooking the parishioners and regularly hosted garden parties for the villagers. Downstairs is a beautiful kitchen/dining area where fantastic meals can be rustled up for the group, whilst taking in the wonderful views. Enjoy the roaring open fire at night in the tastefully presented and ultra-comfortable living room, a true place in which to relax. Upstairs are five fantastic bedrooms, all individually styled and designed with comfort in mind. A family bathroom and shower room, together with two further en-suite shower rooms complete the interior, which oozes quality throughout.
Outside is a fabulous sitting-out area for the group, where you can dine al fresco or just sit with a glass of wine and a book. For those wanting an extra special touch, there is also a hot tub, which can be enjoyed all year round. Within a matter of yards, there is an award winning pub, which serves great food and drink.
The Old Vicarage is somewhere you can stay and enjoy for the whole duration of your holiday, however don’t forget that you have also got the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Pendle Hill within easy reach. All in all, this property ticks almost every box and is perfect for couples, friends and families to enjoy a superb getaway. Shop ¼ mile, pub/restaurant 100 yards.
