Nestled in a beautiful part of Lancashire in an adults-only holiday park, this luxurious lodge is a great escape for friends travelling together. There is plenty of space to socialise both inside and out, with a private deck fully equipped with a private hot tub to enjoy at your leisure. For days out by the coast, a trip to iconic Blackpool is a must boasting an array of eateries and activities alongside the blissful beach and pier.

At the heart of the home is the open-plan living space, filled with natural light and thoughtfully decorated to encourage guests to kick back and relax. The corner sofa is the perfect place to take the weight off your feet and gaze out at the trees across the decking, whilst the dining table is a great setting for meal times or evenings spent playing board games beside the fire. When it’s time to cook up a feast, the kitchen has everything you’ll need, cleverly designed to maximise the space with built-in appliances and plenty of storage. Three bedrooms can be found via the hall, with the master bedroom featuring a double bed and an en-suite shower for added privacy. The final two bedrooms are compact with twin beds and built-in storage, sharing the family shower room. Outside, the decked balcony provides an oasis for entertainment with a table and chairs, a hot tub and gorgeous views. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the shared facilities on-site, which range from a fantastic fishing lake to a dog-walking field and an honesty bar.

To the south of the park is the River Wyre (5 miles), which has a wonderful long-distance walking route, the Wyre Way, which is split into three sections over 45 miles ensuring plenty of options for exploring locally. For a spot of history, pay a visit to Lancaster Castle which is filled with fascinating stories, from its mediaeval roots to its former use as a prison.
