Cosy Corner Cottage is a secret little hideaway, classily decorated and furnished with a cosy lounge, 'state of the art' kitchen and bathroom and a really lovely bedroom. It's the attention to detail that sets the cottage apart with simple but brilliant use of colour, lovely drapes, crisp linen and fluffy towels making for an unforgettable stay.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the lovely village of Baslow, on the very edge of the wonderful Chatsworth Estate, it also has a really great location. There are lots and lots of things to explore in the village from the craft centre and gift stores to the three pubs, four restaurants and the Cavendish Hotel. Our favourite is an evening walk by the river before a super meal in Rowley's bistro.  

Chatsworth with its magnificent house and gardens, peaceful Haddon Hall and famous Bakewell with its 'puddings' are all just a few minutes' drive away. Baslow and Curbar Edges which overlook the village make for great walks and breathtaking views. All the Peak District's sparkling rivers, picturesque villages, dramatic dales and endless range of other attractions are just as close by.

Cottage facilities:

A attractive lounge with comfortable sofa and arm chair, T.V., DVD, Freeview and coal effect gas fire. An adjoining dining area with table and chairs. A quality fitted kitchen with hard wood surfaces, polished marble floor, hob, oven, microwave and fridge. An outside store with washing machine, laundry maid and space for bikes. A bedroom with luxurious double bed, crisp linen and views towards Chatsworth. A small dressing area. An ultra - modern bathroom with under floor heating, bath/shower over, fluffy towels and W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. There is a small sitting out area with table and chairs. The cottage is not suitable for toddlers because of the open staircase. Parking is very close by on the quiet lanes at the end of the path up to the cottage. There is a store for bikes. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.

Weekly bookings are normally Friday to Friday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas & New Year.
