Outside is a lovely paved patio, a great spot to sit and relax with a cold drink on a summer's evening, whilst looking out over the delights of Bradwell and the rolling, green countryside beyond. The charming village of Bradwell is in the Hope Valley and has many amenities, including locally made ice cream. There are plenty of countryside walks available from the doorstep and the popular village of Castleton is a short drive away, with its visitor centre and famous Blue John Caverns. Also the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell are within easy reach. This lovely cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the Peak District National Park at any time of the year.

There were many little 'extras' like kitchen items (salt, pepper, tea, coffee, ketchup etc) and also a basket of items for our dog - (treats, blankets, poo bags, dog bowels). It was very comfortable and perfect base for me and my family to explore the local area. Bradwell itself is lovely with a great fish and chip shop & pubs to have a good local evening meal.

A few wet days this time around, but having a comfortable, dry base to come back to made the weather insignificant to us. Already checking to see when we can come back next year!
