Ivy Cottage is a brilliant stone cottage, renovated to a superb standard with a lovely lounge, ultra modern dining kitchen, three super bedrooms, a family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. Its sumptuous furnishings and drapes, quality decoration and glowing log-burning stove make this a very special home from home. Then there is the fantastic Wisteria clad rear patio and delightful summerhouse/winter snug !

Tucked away in Two Dales it's got a super location. Sit on the patio with your morning toast as the village comes to life. Wander down to the local shops just along the road. Take a picnic to share with the ducks in nearby Whitworth Park. Set out along the footpaths for afternoons exploring the beautiful Derwent Valley. If there is an evening chill in the air just cuddle up in front of the stove when you walk back from the pub.

If Bakewell is just a few minutes drive away then so are all Derbyshire's other holiday attractions. Local to Two Dales there is Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, Peak Rail's steam trains or the cable cars in Matlock Bath, bargains galore in the shops in Peak Village or Masson Mill, or just lovely meals in the numerous local restaurants. Barringtons restaurant in Two Dales is one of our real favorites.

Cottage facilities:

A cosy lounge with really comfortable furnishings, glowing log burning stove, T.V. DVD, Freeview and Wi-Fi. A superb dining kitchen with quality units, hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A utility room with automatic washer. A delightful double bedroom. A similar single bedroom. A lovely second floor twin bedoom. An attractive bathroom with bath/shower over and W.C. A downstairs cloakroom with W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, power and an initial supply of logs for the stove are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a lovely rear patio with furniture. Easy parking is available on the local roads next to the cottage. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.

Weekly bookings are normally Friday to Friday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas & New Year.
