An absolutely classy cottage, superbly furnished and decorated and set amidst rolling fields on the edge of Taddington.
This superbly decorated cosy cottage is situated a 2 minute walk from the limestone village of Taddington. With tons of original characteristics flowing through the building, you’ll feel relaxed and content whilst staying here. Formerly an old stone barn, the beautiful lounge includes an old stone fireplace, complete with a woodburner to keep you nice and toasty. Outside is a large secluded patio area with garden furniture, perfect for sipping on your morning brew. Taddington is a close-knit community with two friendly village pubs.The location of this property is brilliant as, being in between Bakewell and Buxton, there's so much to explore on your doorstep. You can walk across the top of the Peaks along the Limestone Way or down into Miller’s Dale and Monsal Dale, seeking waterfalls in the valley. Jump into the car for a short drive and you’ll end up at famous Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Harlington's Cheese Shop, Carsington Water or Hardwick Hall, just to name a few close-by attractions.
