Positioned in a highly sought after location in the heart of Buxton directly opposite The Pavilion Gardens, with its 23 acres of award winning beautifully maintained land, these two Victorian holiday cottages (ref 30069 and 30070) and lower ground floor holiday apartment (ref 30071), adjacent to the owner’s home, have been immaculately presented to a very good standard throughout. Parking is located directly next to the entrance to the properties and is suitable for more than 1 car. Adorned with fine fixtures and fittings, period features and beautiful antique furniture, they are an ideal base from which to explore for those looking for either a break outdoors in stunning countryside or to soak up an abundance of cultural and artistic interest. Famous for its opera house which has a spectacular auditorium, and its diverse and varied architecture, Buxton itself has a large selection of boutique and independent shops, craft and gift emporiums. There are cafés and coffee shops, pubs, bars, artisan markets, festivals and street food - and, of course, you are surrounded on three sides by the Peak District National Park. Beautiful walks can be enjoyed at Rushup Moor, and cyclists can take advantage of the Tissington Trail. Bakewell is home to the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth Estate and Haddon Hall, Castleton has its caverns, and the National Trust’s Lyme Park, the Roaches, the Monsal Trail and even Alton Towers are all just a short distance away. Golf can be found nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
