As part of the renovation to the main house (known as Waterfront house), Waterfront retreat is a lovingly designed cottage annexe with private entrance that has been created with style and relaxation in mind.
If the flourish of designer driftwood ornaments and the pallet of seaside shades don’t transport your imagination to a sandy beach on a warm summer’s day, then the views from the property will do. This Waterfront Retreat is set on the Yarmouth shore making it a truly wonderful base from which to enjoy the delights of seaside living on this beautiful island.
The recently renovated annexe has a lovely kitchen and a beautiful light and airy sitting room which overlooks the main garden, providing plenty of space for you to relax and enjoy your stay. From the master bedroom there are great views over the Solent to the north and far reaching countryside views to the south. Outside is a private enclosed decking area with table, chairs and a BBQ; perfect for alfresco dining at any time of the day. If you are lucky you may even be able to watch the resident family of rare red squirrels at the bottom of the garden.
The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight. Its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth's narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns and a visit to Henry viii's castle is not to be missed.
