In the county of Kent, the market town of Faversham is booming. This charming town provides tourists the option to explore, shop, cycle, walk, swim, fish, or eat out. It also has the oldest brewery in Britain, which dates to 1698, as well as a number of intriguing places to see and things to do. Up until the 1950s, many London-based families made "hop picking" a family holiday as a result of the brewery. One of the best spots to have a few beers is in the fields surrounding Faversham during the summer, when thousands of people swarm there to set up tents and spend the days "hop picking." With its cobblestone lanes, ancient homes, tiny quaint pubs, and several listed buildings, Faversham is proud of its heritage and is even mentioned in the Domesday Book. This town cherishes remembering its unique history.

Comfortable with all you need for a break. Dog walks, pub and excellent fish and chip shop near by. Our second visit and we would go again.

Close to amenities in Faversham and perfectly placed for exploring south Kent. The owner is very helpful and leaves a delicious tea to welcome you on your arrival. So nice that we are going back again in six weeks time!

This was our second stay, it's so homely and welcoming. The gift of evening tea was a very welcome treat after our journey. We will definitely be back again. 10 out 10
