Less than a ten minute drive to Newbury town centre The Swan Hotel is a traditional former coaching Inn, situated in a small village in the heart of the rolling Berkshire Downs. Over the last eight years we have established a firm reputation for providing British pub food with a combination of good value and high standards with an emphasis on quality AND quantity. These standards are maintained by our well stocked bar, serving wines from the old world and new and our well kept,award winning real ales, backed up with twenty years of experience in the pub trade.

Directions to The Swan
Just ten Minutes from Newbury town center.
The Swan is in the Village of East Ilsley 10 miles North of Newbury.From the M4 Junction 13, Join the A34 North towards Oxford for six miles. Leave the A34 at the First exit, signposted East Ilsley and Compton. Turn Left at the end of the sliproad and drive into East Ilsley. The Swan Hotel will be on the right at the junctions of Fiddlers Lane and the High Street.
From Oxford follow the A34 South for 20 mile and leave at the East Ilsley, Compton exit drive into East Ilsley and the Swan will be seen as you get to the crossroads in the centre of the Village.
