To the west is the seaside town of Littlehampton and its east and west beaches, which are bisected by the estuary of the River Arun. From here fishing and leisure trips can be taken. Between Littlehampton and Worthing, to the east, the area is well known for private beach estates and the greenswards that sit immediately behind the beach.
