Lanhydrock Barn is a real gem surrounded by the unspoiled nature of Bodmin Moor and within easy reach of Cornwall’s north coast and beaches.

Tucked away in a picturesque setting near the historic Lanhydrock House and gardens yet just a short drive from many terrific seaside towns including the quaint village of Port Isaac, guests can easily experience the delights of both rural and coastal Cornwall.

Inside, you’ll discover a charming space with beamed ceilings, with a light and bright master bedroom, an open plan living room with Smart TV, a shower room and an amply equipped modern kitchen. Outside there’s a large private garden with lovely countryside views, a fabulous seating area which rests under a pergola, and a bubbling hot tub* for soaking away the stresses of a busy life.

Well-known for its wonderful historic house and gardens, Lanhydrock House is mere minutes away, while other attractions in the area include the Eden Project and the Camel Valley Trail which runs 12 scenic miles to the famous fishing port of Padstow. The market town of Lostwithiel is 15 minutes by car and a great place to find hidden treasure in one of its many antique stores, while the estuary town of Fowey is 20 minutes’ drive, with towns like Looe, Polperro and Newquay being about half an hour away.

A modern kitchen which is open plan with the living room, offers plenty of countertop space for meal prep. It features an electric fan-assisted oven and grill, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, *Magimix Nespresso coffee machine and washing machine

Other items are a cafetiere, iron / ironing board, vacuum cleaner and a range of cookware, crockery, glasses and utensils

Incorporated within the lounge, the dining area is furnished with a small table and seating for 2

Bedroom

The light-filled bedroom is furnished with a double bed, side tables with reading lights, a mirror and dressing table

Bathroom

Walk-in shower with hand-held attachment as well as a hand basin, cabinet, mirror and WC

Travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel provided as well as a bathrobes and disposable slippers

Outside

A private wrap-around garden features an outdoor set of a table and chairs which sits beneath a lovely, shady pergola. The property also offers a charcoal BBQ, chiminea and a wonderful bubbling hot tub. Two sandy colour hot tub towels are provided for guest use.
