On the edge of Breage, about 500 yards from the pub is The Hayloft, a detached 'upside down' cottage which has been beautifully converted from a stone barn. The far-reaching panoramic sea views to Porthleven in one direction and Breage church in the other are simply superb. Inside, is no less impressive, designed to a high standard, great care has been taken to provide you with everything you'll need for a wonderful holiday. Handsome oak stairs lead up to a bright and spacious, dual aspect, open-plan living area, with original beams, Velux windows and a door leading to a decked area and steps down to garden. Further afield, the old town of Helston has a range of amenities, and Flambards family theme park is a great day out for your little thrill seekers. A peaceful, rural village located in between Helston and Penzance, Breage is home to the 12th century St Breaca church – and on Tregonning Hill, the highest point in the village, are the remains of an ancient settlement.
