About this property

Stratton was once an ancient market town, believed to be established in Roman Times, and still has an olde worlde feel with its historic buildings and narrow streets. The small town was also the seat of justice for a wide area and is famous for its involvement in the Civil War. The nearby town of Bude boasts a wide range of shops, restaurants, craft shops and a choice of three sandy beaches, as well as a sea pool and golf course. The north coast of Cornwall and Devon is renowned for its rugged coastline and picturesque fishing villages including Clovelly, Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac. Walkers will enjoy the dramatic views from the South West Coast Path. Many family attractions are within driving distance including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Trethorne Leisure Park or, if you wanted to stay more local, why not explore Tamar Lakes with its wealth of water sports, superb fishing and great walks. On entering this bright and inviting property you will find yourself in the welcoming and elegant open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. The cosy lounge boasts traditional feature arched windows and is equipped with a Smart TV and DVD. The ideally situated dining area allows you to dine in style, while the attractively designed kitchen has everything you may need during your holiday including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. Moving up to the first floor you will find two bedrooms, firstly a king size and also a twin with zip and link beds which can be made into a double on request. There is also a shower room complete with WC.
