Trebarwith Strand s pet friendly beach is nearby with a long stretch of golden sand backed by flat rocks. The South West Coast Path is accessed from here, offering wonderful walks with views of the north coast. Close by is the medieval village of Tintagel where you can visit Tintagel Castle, one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain, and you can walk over the stunning 60 metre bridge set between two cliffs. Visit the picture postcard fishing village of Boscastle nearby. Other attractions and places of interest include stunning Bodmin Moor and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Slightly further afield, are the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow and Rock all well worth a visit and a haven for foodies too.
