The Beach Hut is a three floored, modern terraced cottage ideal for one large or extended family or even two families sharing a holiday. There are two bedrooms on the ground and one on the second floor with the first floor being the living area, so plenty of privacy is assured. The Beach Hut offers fantastic value for money with a great location and is very well equipped and comfortable.
Due to its central location, The Beach Hut will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village’s facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting, leisure and other attractions. Crantock beach is also just a five minute walk from the cottage, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers.
Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

First floor open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area.
1 x second floor double bed with bedside tables, TV, chest of drawers.
Adjacent dressing room.
Second floor family bathroom: Bath with shower attachment, sink, WC, storage.
Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Patio garden at the rear, on two levels with steps between levels: decked on the lower level and paved on the higher level.
Patio Table & Chairs on lower level with BBQ.
Two well behaved dogs welcome.
Green energy air source heat pump and Power included in the rent.
Cot and highchair & stairgate available (at the top of the stairs only).
Parking space at the property for 1 regular sized car, not suitable for low bearing or sports cars.
Additional parking can be purchased in a local Village Hall car park (approximate 5 minute walk),this is charged at £30 per week per car.

Included in the rental price is bed linen for each bed that has been booked and a shower mat for each shower or bath, each guest is also provided with a bath and hand towel - Guests must provide their own beach towels.
Note: Surf shower and hanging rail for wetsuits in garden.

Comfortable beds and good seating in the living area. Fresh towels and bedding. All lovely furnishings in the bedrooms. Nice touches with the fudge, coffee and shortbread. We had 4 people, baby and dog and it was just right. Some improvements: no way a negative, just would have made it 100% for us. 1. Wi-Fi. This is really poor and there is no network signal (which is just unlucky) we had to do some work and it was very frustrating with little internet service. 2. More baking trays and dishes big enough for 4-6 people. The ones provided are only suitable for 2 people. 3. An additional chopping board - only 1 wooden one provided. 4. Oven gloves would be better than the oven cloth. 5. En suite shower head falls down. Just needs to be tightened. 6. Pegs. Washing line but no sign of any pegs. 7. Advertise coffee machine - we took our own cafetière. 8. Locks quite stiff on the doors could be lubricated. 9. No heating in upstairs bathroom, difficult to dry towels. Seems like I am moaning but these are just small changes that would make this great. Would definitely stay againâ¦

The Beach Hut met all of our expectations and more. The House has lots of space and it great for families with older Teenagers and a dog. Will definitely return, thanks for letting us use it.

It is a great location within walking distance from the Beach and handy for shops, pubs etc. The property is very comfortable and communication with the owners and housekeeper is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend.
