Looe 2.1 miles. Perched on the edges of the Looe Valley, with a stunning outlook over the tree tops towards the coastline, is Woodview. You will arrive at the thriving fishing village of Looe within minutes, where you can discover an array of shops and eateries, scattered amongst a maze of winding, cobbled streets. Pay a visit to its safe, sandy beach with the kids, where you can enjoy a spot of rock pooling, as well as crabbing on the quayside. Discover the waterside towns of Fowey and Mevagissey during your trip, both within easy reach offering a lovely day out, as well as The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Bodmin Moor. Woodview is a charming getaway in a delightful location.

Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port, with an arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. East Looe has narrow cobbled streets, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. The sandy beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. There are many mining remains on Bodmin Moor and in the Tamar Valley and much of the mining landscape has World Heritage status.
