The Queen’s Apartment is a first floor, gothic-style apartment located in Lostwithiel, Cornwall. It was built in the 19th century and is made from granite. Inside has a homely ambience and close attention has been paid to the décor and soft furnishings, including thermostatically controlled underfloor heating. It is perfect for couples.

There is a living room with an art nouveau open fireplace, TV, DVD player and WiFi, a fitted kitchen and dining area. It has one king-size bedroom and a separate bathroom and WC. Outside you will have use of the extensive and very impressive gardens with a variety of large trees and shrubs. There is also a garden area with furniture and a barbecue.

A delightfully peaceful country town, nestling in the Fowey river valley amid the woods and fields that characterise the area. Renowned as a centre for the antiques trade, there are several shops and dealers in the town, as well as a fine collection of country pubs, restaurants and a thriving farmer’s market.

There are many secluded beaches a short drive away, including Pridmouth, Bodmin Moor and the North Cornish coast are nearby landscapes for sightseers. St Michael’s Mount and The Tate in St Ives are fantastic for day trips.

Newquay makes for great days out and there is also chance to enjoy river canoeing, biking, hiking and leisurely walks in this lovely area. The friendly locals also have ongoing activities, such as the raft race, the famous tug of war, Carnival week and seagull outboard motor races.
