Set in the midst of ten beautiful acres of gardens in the excellent touring base of Summercourt village is The Granary, a single-storey cottage for two. Perfectly positioned for accessing all of Cornwall's hotspots, The Granary offers attractive interiors and access to extensive grounds, ideal for those seeking a tranquil, romantic and dog-friendly break to England's sunshine county. Step inside the pale green door to be met with a delightfully decorated open-plan living space with tones of blue in the floral feature wall complementing the other neutral hues of the room. Relax on the sofa or easy chair as you enjoy a film on the wall-mounted TV before beginning the prep for your evening meal in the sleek kitchen. Backing the white units are pretty blue tiles with an electric oven, electric hob, and microwave among the appliances to assist you on your self-catered stay. Dine together at the dining table as you discuss the day's adventures over a glass of wine, afterwards enjoying an evening stroll around the large, landscaped gardens spanning 10-acres. Rest and relax in the bedroom once night falls finding a king-size bed in here and a wardrobe amidst the pretty décor, with an en-suite shower room to freshen up in on waking home to a large shower enclosure offering lots of space. The lovely village of Summercourt boasts everything you need during your stay including a village shop and a pub, with more to be found in the surrounding villages which you can come across on your rambles. A variety of attractions can be found scattered in the area like the historic Tudor 16th century manor house of Trerice, home to period furnishings, a formal Tudor garden and a restaurant. Head west to the surfing haven of Newquay to sample the fantastic Cornish surf on Fistral Beach, a popular spot for pro-surfers thanks to the excellent waves coming in from the Cribbar Reef, you can hire boards and wetsuits from the local hire shops and surf schools if you haven't got your own, or even take a lesson or two! Visit the many attractions of Newquay from the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo to the picturesque boating lake and Newquay Golf Club, not to mention the fabulous array of eateries and bars to enjoy too. Take a walk along the South West Coast Path to find the quaint village of Crantock with the quieter shores of Crantock Beach being preferable to some. More awaits you eastwards like the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project along with the bustling town of St Austell, one of Cornwall's biggest towns and home to the likes of St Austell Brewery and Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum. As well as plenty of stunning beaches, Cornwall has lots of scenic countryside to explore too, and the A30 running next to the village of Summercourt can easily connect you to St Ives, Penzance and Truro. Enjoy a wonderful break to Cornwall with your loved one at The Granary. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1061272, together sleeping up to six people.
