This is a modern, conveniently located 2 bed property about a 12 minute walk into the centre of Padstow and about 5 minutes up to the big Tesco (with steep climbs both ways). It has a parking space and a little courtyard garden with far views over the estuary. The kitchen is really well-equipped with a fabulous induction hob, microwave and oven and the shower has very decent power. Beds are comfortable and all linen and towels were included. It is a holiday place that feels as though real thought has gone into its practical use and we would highly recommend it. We walked down the hill and did a nice walk along the Camel trail from the lobster hatchery side as well as our usual Trevose Head, Harlyn and Constantine Bay walks. The little cafe at Harlyn is a great addition and very welcome after a long wet walk. We did our usual Rick Stein visits but Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 was superb again and Christmas Day lunch at The Pig was absolutely outstanding, our first visit there. We also drove down to visit The Eden Project again and the stunning Minack Theatre. Overall, even with mixed Christmas weather, another fabulous week with Cornish Horizons in a really lovely property.
