Heylyn has an open plan kitchen/lounge diner with French doors leading to a decked area with seating where you can dine al fresco and watch the birds by day or the stars by night. It has two bedrooms, one double and one with bunk beds and a spiral staircase leading up to the first floor.

Important notes: No smoking. Please note there is an open tread spiral staircase from the sitting area and limited access to the double bed on one side in bedroom 1, you are unable to walk right around the bed due to space restrictions. To take a kayak/canoe onto the river, you will need to carefully take it through the house, or access via the car park through a gate.

Lovely cottage right on the river. Lovely and clean and biscuits and teabags on arrival are a nice gesture. Would definatel;y stay again.

Heylyn is in a fabulous location very peaceful watching the wildlife and easy access to Padstow. It was lovely having a coffee in the morning on the bedroom balcony listening to the birds. We had no problems while staying there although if staying with small children the winding staircase might be a problem. Having said that would definitely recommend this property.
