Enjoying a fantastic location just a short drive away from a wealth of beautiful beaches, and a contemporary interior with all a couple could need for a relaxing getaway, Sanctuary Cottage is your perfect choice for a memorable escape to Cornwall. The property benefits from an off-road parking space on a shared driveway, as well as its own private garden with furniture, ideal for when you want to dine alfresco over your favourite tipple. Step inside, where you will find a fully-equipped kitchen, where you can rustle up your finest dishes, ready to enjoy at the table over a celebratory bottle of fizz in the light and airy conservatory/dining area. After dinner, retreat to the sitting room, where you will find plush seating, including a sofa bed, along with a Smart TV and a crackling woodburning stove for those chiller evenings. Follow the stairs up to the first floor, where you can wash away the day in the sleek bathroom, complete with bath and overhead shower, before catching your slumber in the beautifully decorated king-size bedroom. Explore the bustling town, where you can sample local ales at The Mine Brewing, treat your loved one to a meal at Halestown Inn, Beer & Bird, The Firehouse and The Seafood Café, create your own souvenir at The Leach Pottery, tour the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Studio, take a leisurely stroll around the harbour, or spend a day on the golden sands at one of the many beaches. For a memorable daytrip, why not embark on a fishing charter or a sea safari? Next stop is Penzance, where you will find the attractions of the Penlee House Gallery & Museum, the Jubilee Pool, a lively promenade, and a ferry offering trips out to the beautiful Isles of Scilly. Continue onto Marazion, where you can visit the renowned St Michael’s Mount, or venture further afield to visit the popular Minnack Theatre in Porthcurno, the Poldark famous Botallack near Boscean and the Geevor Tin Mine Museum in Pendeen. All this and more awaits at Sanctuary Cottage.

St. Ives is one of Cornwall's most picturesque harbour towns, with its winding lanes and quaint cottages clustered along the water's edge. Visitors can also enjoy the town's proximity to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum, as well as its many other attractions, including its beautiful beaches, excellent shopping, and thriving artistic community. It's easy to see why this is the best vacation spot in the county, what with its semi-Bohemian atmosphere and romantic vibe. Abundant wildlife, beautiful coastal walks, world-class surfing, and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach and provide plenty of entertainment for visitors. That place is amazing!

The cottage is beautiful; decorated to a very high standard and very comfy and cosy. I went in March and the cottage was lovely and warm because the central heating is excellent. I had a fire using the log burner each night for extra cosiness. Parking space is provided with the property. Everything I needed was there; all china, pots and utensils in the kitchen and there was a Cream Tea and stuff to make tea/coffee with, which was very welcoming. The cottage was perfect for exploring St Ives and the surrounding areas. I went to Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno, Padstow and Mousehole. I loved the cottage and will book it again if I return to Cornwall. A perfect holiday stay! (Note for the owners: a clothes horse to dry washing would fit in the cupboard under the stairs, for when it's too wet to dry clothes outside.)

Comfortable and cosy. Everything we needed there. Location was really close to St Ives. Parking which others have mentioned is a little tricky but we have a large and new to me car so that didn’t help. That said I would have stayed there for a month if I could. Will definitely return! Thanks

The cottage was very cosy and everything was spotless. The scones on arrival were a nice touch and the welcome pack was very informative, as it explained the route to walk into St Ives (and lots of other useful tips).
