St Kew Highway is a five minute drive and has a pub, garage, and mini market, and there is a 9 hole golf course and farm shop 1 mile away. For a wider selection of amenities, the market town of Wadebridge is 3 miles and the golden sandy beaches of Polzeath, famed for its surfing, Daymer Bay and Rock are all within easy driving distance.

The village of St Kew about 3 / 4 of a mile away has a pretty church and a beautiful 15th century pub that offers good food.
