About this property
Located in the heart of the Rame Peninsula on Cornwall’s south coast, with amazing panoramic views from Whitsand Bay in the west over the surrounding countryside and round to Plymouth in the east with Dartmoor in the distance. Take in the panoramic views while relaxing in the hot tub with only the sound of bird song in the background. Just a short walk away is Whitsand Bay Beach via a steep cliff path, with 4 miles of golden sands. Many more glorious beaches can be reached within a 5-mile drive and the peninsula also boasts many scenic fishing villages and Mount Edgecombe Park (4.5 miles). Plymouth (10 miles) is within easy reach via the Torpoint ferry, while the town of Looe (14.5 miles) is another excellent place to explore nearby, as is the Eden Project (32 miles).
Enter the lodge via the main entrance hallway and turn left into the lounge/kitchen/dining room. This spacious and bright room features a fireplace and TV (Chromecast included to enable streaming of Netflix, Prime video, etc.) as well as double patio doors leading out onto the decking with spectacular views over Whitsand Bay and right across to Devon and Plymouth. This room has ample seating and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer, the perfect place to cook up a fabulous meal and socialise with the rest of the party. The dining area has a circular table and chairs and looks out over the wonderful views. Moving back through the hallway, there is a study room that has a built-in desk but could be used as a nursery for a travel cot, or for storage. The three bedrooms are also along this hallway, the first is a light and bright twin across the hallway from the study and then up the corridor you will come to the main bathroom which features a corner bath and handheld shower and WC. Next door is a lovely double room, and the last room is the master king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite with shower and WC.
Outside is a private hot tub and large decking area with loungers and garden furniture – perfect for enjoying the spectacular sunsets over an al fresco evening meal. There is parking space for one car close by. Further parking is available (subject to availability, at additional charge). Guests are welcome to use the holiday park’s leisure facilities, which include a indoor heated pool open year round with changing and shower facilities, gym, restaurant, café and games room.
